The most titled singer in Grammy history will perform two concerts in her hometown of Houston at NRG Stadium. Houston will be one of the key cities Beyonce will visit as part of her Cowboy Carter world tour in support of her album of the same name.
The Cowboy Carter album celebrates and reinterprets country music, though its main “genre” is Beyonce herself. For her work, the singer received the first in her career Grammy Award for the best album of the year. Thus, Beyonce already has 35 statuettes of the most prestigious music award on her account. The single “Texas Hold ‘Em” debuted at number one on Hot Country Songs, making Beyonce the first black female artist to top the country chart in Billboard history.
